Firmware updates are published here with a changelog when they exist. The R4 ships ready to work — there is no mandatory day-one update. Register your serial to be notified of releases for your batch.

There is no download for these platforms because none is needed — connect the R4 over USB-C and select it as your audio device. The driver above is a Windows requirement only.
The full setup walkthroughYou will not find a companion app on this page. Gain, phantom power, monitoring, SAFE, AUTO, MIX and ALT are physical controls with their state on the front-panel display — deliberate engineering, not a missing download. Nothing here breaks when your OS updates.
